You’ve hopefully definitely read our list of the 10 British Rap Releases of 2017 already, but now we’re sharing with you the opinions of some of those on the shortlist.

Unlike us, a few cocky lads who elected themselves to have a valid opinion on music, thee guys in this article have some serious expertise. Among them are producers, rappers and record labels, and we asked each to pick their top three releases of last year. Some picked their own work, some picked stuff from the wrong year and some have given you genuinely solid extra listening homework to go away and do.
