NEW MUSIC: Daniele Luppi & Parquet Courts take us to 1990s Milan…

“Lentamente per favore” / Was all I asked him but he ignored me / View of Il Duomo, brand new sound system / Sweating profusely he calls me his kitten / I saw his wallet out on the table / Grab on the way out if I am able / He fancies new things for his collection / But they expire in time like his erection”

Daniel Luppe leads the super-heroes of sarcastic punk Parquet Courts and Karen O into a sexy, evocative and let’s face it, seriously cool collab. The album Milano nostalgically and sensuously explores the hedonism of 1980s Milan. Pretty Faces, is a beautifully constructed track hand-picked from the album by me as if it were the ripest fruit on display at a Milanese market. It narrates us through the streets and personalities of the city and the kicks and swerves like an Andrea Pirlo freekick. But if Andrea Pirlo played in the 1980s…

Listen, it is fantastico!
