The first thing we like about 404 Guild is that they’ve got ties to the humble East Sussex town of Eastbourne. The second thing we like about them is that they’re very, very good.
Elison 404 – which is a duo within the collective – have just dropped their second single in as many months as the experimental Chip Pan follows up Perfect Dark. This one switches up from sounding like some kind of space-age garage to something befitting of early-90s football highlights.
We love it either way. It’s always nice to see rap-led music pushing boundaries, innit. You can hear Elison 404’s other recent release in our Music of the Month Playlist.
