SHUSH // Ken Okuda & D’Monk (All Night Long) (The Carpet Shop, London, 04/09)
SHUSH co-founders Ken Okuda and D’Monk go back to the party’s beginnings with five hours behind the decks from open to close. Long-form storytelling through music sharing, no handovers and absolutely nowhere to hide a bad record.
EGLO RECORDS: Alex Nut and Sticky Dub (Hope House, Leeds, 04/09)
Alex Nut and Sticky Dub take over Hope House for an Eglo Records session, with all profits going towards MAP Charity’s education programme. Good tunes, good cause, tickets from £7.50. Extremely hard to argue with.
POLYGLOT: DJ Plead, MBODJ, TRS & EYRA (Sala Upload, Barcelona, 04/09)
There’s more to Barcelona than the Barca club shop and Las Ramblas. DJ Plead is back in Catalonia for the first time since lockdown to get a dancefloor moving breaks, bass and off-the-wall rhythms.
Queen Of Discs: Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy (SECRET LOCATION, Liverpool, 05/09)
The legendary Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy lands in Liverpool for seven hours of house and disco at a location that remains under wraps. Permission to say, ‘Boss, La.’
World of Twist with DAR DISKU: Birthday Special (The Rum Shack, Glasgow, 05/09)
World of Twist turns three and welcomes Dar Disku for a trip weaving together Arabidisco, Habibi House, Bollywood, psychedelia, 80s Egyptian Disco and beautiful oddities from every corner of the globe. Good luck Shazam.

The amount of people we’ve had tell us that their ideal night out is Theo Parrish at Nowadays is astonishing and yet, so valid.
