DEELA returns with 'Good Girl No Dey Pay'

Over the past five years, DEELA has emerged from the Nigerian alternative scene with a nostalgic sound that draws heavily from early 2000s Afrobeats.

Her latest EP, Good Girl No Dey Pay, created in collaboration with producer Genio Bambino, builds on this foundation blending old-school vibes with avant-garde elements.

Performances on The Lot Radio and an On The Radar freestyle are well-deserved highlights for an artist who embodies independence and self-confidence. With influences ranging from Young Thug to Young Nudy, it’s no surprise that she’s gaining recognition across the Atlantic.

Spanning six tracks, the EP keeps the energy sky-high, with Bambino’s production perfectly complementing DEELA’s dynamic flows. Featuring standout guest appearances from Teni and BXKS on Patience Ozokwor and Big Deel, Good Girl No Dey Pay caps off a stellar 2024 for the Nigerian-born artist.
