Real Bad Man and ZelooperZ release Dear Psilocybin, their first joint project via Real Bad Man Records.
Avid NBA fans may look back to the 2004 NBA Finals, where the Detroit Pistons took on the LA Lakers in a battle of star power vs. pure teamwork. The Pistons won that pretty comfortably. But in a victory for both Detroit and Los Angeles, we get Dear Psilocybin. RBM and ZelooperZ go together like a pint of Guinness and a pack of scampi fries—great on their own, but together, something truly special.
ZelooperZ pushes Real Bad Man’s production into unconventional territory, matching his own unpredictable, outlandish delivery. He works outside traditional song structures, carving out a lane entirely his own. Dear Psilocybin boasts standout guest appearances from Boldy James, Mavi, and The Alchemist, each matching the project's moody energy.
Lead single 'Sweet Celine' embodies that energy, and the accompanying video, directed by Jimmy Regular, is a trippy, hypnotic, grainy experience that is so far from regular that the irony certainly isn’t lost on me.
At just over 30 minutes, it’s worth carving out time to take this one in properly. Like Magic vs. Isiah, this is LA and Detroit's very finest.
