French DJ, producer, and classical musician Nikitch, joins forces with composer, clarinetist, and saxophonist Alexis Moutzouris for ‘II’.

The Tru Thoughts release is a late-night jazz-laden six-track project complete with a live rendition of ‘Ocean’. The EP journeys through husky jazz-tinged beats, afrobeat-leaning percussion and even at times trappy 808 bass. These two individually snap here too, with multiple solos and just general incredible musicianship. Early Music of the Year candidate? We think it might be.
