Ronnie Scott’s will host its annual free street party on Frith Street, Soho, on Saturday August 1st 2026, bringing live music out of the club and into the street for an afternoon programme running from 11:30am to 4:30pm.

The event, first introduced in 2019 to mark the venue’s 60th anniversary, is expected to attract between 1,000 and 2,000 attendees. Admission is free, with no tickets required.

This year’s line-up spans jazz, soul, R&B and gospel, with performances across two outdoor stages. Artists confirmed include Blue Lab Beats, Daniel Casimir Big Band, Shae Universe and Guvna B, alongside Summer Pearl, NEONE the Wonderer, GRAMN., Jackson Mathod, Marlon the Pannist and the Ronnie Scott’s Gospel Choir. DJs will play throughout the day.

The 2026 edition is presented in partnership with Music Venue Trust and Save Our Scene, with a stated focus on raising awareness of the UK’s grassroots venue network. Representatives from Music Venue Trust will be present on the day, providing information about the challenges facing smaller venues and their role in artist development.

In a statement, Ronnie Scott’s Managing Director Fred Nash said the event is intended to highlight the importance of independent venues in sustaining the wider music ecosystem, noting that early-stage spaces remain “essential to the health of British music.”

Music Venue Trust also emphasised the role of grassroots venues in supporting the UK’s jazz scene, describing them as key sites for experimentation, collaboration and audience-building. Good work if you can get it.

The street party continues Ronnie Scott’s long-standing focus on both established and emerging artists, while extending access beyond the venue itself by staging performances in a public setting.
