Sefi Zisling first graced Offie Mag eardrums via the Tru Thoughts released 'Expanse' in 2019 and his take on timeless jazz has been in and around the office ever since.
For 2024, the trumpeter has a new album to release on the Brighton-based record label, as 'The Librarian' is set for a June 14th drop. Zisling's first single 'Brothers' is a tribute to all eight of his own brothers and an upbeat ode to the lessons his family have taught him over the years.
On this track and on the forthcoming album, he departs from his previous approach of working with an ensemble and scales back to a quintet, allowing Sefi Zisling to more delicately take on deeply personal themes that, in simple terms, you might not be up for doing in a big room of people. Here for it.
