Broadcaster, DJ and music journalist Tina Edwards has teamed up with multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer Jelly Cleaver to bring you Queer Jazz.
The event series celebrates LGBTQIA+ jazz artists, and the pair aim to foster a community whilst giving a platform to both established and rising artists through live music, jams and panels.
Their launch falls within Pride Month and will be hosted at Woolwich Works. The first event is taking place on June 15th and will include performances from South Londoner, vocalist and songwriter Eliza Oakes, and the experimental trio that draw inspiration from all over the gaff, FAKER VILLIAN.
There will also be a panel talk hosted by Tina Edwards and Jelly Cleaver and featuring Roundhouse resident Luca Manning and Sounds Queer co-founder Toby Corton.
The two subsequent events will take place on July 13th and August 17th and will feature performances from Isobella Burnham, margomool and Akin Soul. These are not to be missed.
