Brighton based musician, singer, producer and composer Vimbai Mango and producer and DJ Footshooter release 'Searching (Nzira),' Deeply influenced by Vimbai’s childhood memories and her grandfather’s vinyl collection, the song evokes the era surrounding Zimbabwe’s independence.

Vimbai, a recent addition to Tru Thoughts roster and Footshooter have frequently performed together such as Brick Lane Jazz festival earlier this year as well as slots on Balamii. This new collaboration 'Searching (Nzira)' is a Prelude to ongoing exploration of self-discovery and transformation, sonically rich in electronic textures, intricate jazz harmonies and soulful vocal melodies while lyrically Vimbai is introspective; telling stories of personal growth through ethereal and soulful tones while also implementing spoken word.
