Keys player and composer Yoni Mayraz has been one of the more prolific jazz artists in the UK over recent years, and a live audience was treated to a special rendition of As We Entered Jericho alongside Tenderlonious.
The 22a artist was on flute, joining Yoni Mayraz (keys), Tom Driessler (bass) and Zoe Pascal (drums) on stage at 91 Living Room in London for a delicate performance that was recorded for playback.
Stretching across over ten-minutes, Tenderlonious' stands centre of the stage, at one point turning his head (and flute) away from the microphone to allow his expressions to fall subtly into the background, before returning once again to full, vibrant volume.
If it's your first time hearing this composition, it's a great place to start. The original version features on Yoni Mayraz's sprawling record Dybuk Tse!, which released earlier in 2023.
