Zino Vinci is superhuman On 'Professor X'

Eastenders might have just turned 40, but who cares when we have one of Newham’s finest dropping pearls with a freestyle over a tasty beat from New York-based producer Mindset, whose take on a rather famous sample had me feeling pretty angelic as he gives us what we really need.

Zino keeps it light on the references, so apologies if you were expecting a tribute to arguably comic books' most famous bald head. Wolverine, Storm, Nightcrawler—all top-tier X-Men in their own right—but Professor Charles Xavier really started it all. Unlike your average Stan Lee story, there’s no good vs. bad here; Zino is giving us nothing but the best, even if only briefly. That would be my only gripe—you can only enjoy the track for less than ninety seconds. But in that ninety, we hear everything that has gotten him to where he is now, quickly rising in the minds of rap fans across the country.

With the track, we get an accompanying video shot in Paris, directed and edited by Jay Aaron, that sees Zino donning the Union flag on his head as he, his little Professor X, and his entourage all soak up some Parisian nightlife.

There are no infinite timelines in this life, so don’t waste any of it—you can watch the video for Professor X here.
