Call Sender's double-sided single gives taste of Hip-Hop infused jazz fusion LP to come

Brighton-based independent record label Tru Thoughts have long been connecting the dots between Hip-Hop, jazz and electronica, and Call Sender's next project on the label is the embodiment of this.

The duo is made up of the multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, and engineer Paul Elliott from Suffolk, and Bay-area (US) resident multi-instrumentalist, recording engineer and drummer Michael Reed. The result is something that sounds worthy of a film score, as Mad Mark's eery build-up sets a scene of something rather sinister between funky riffs.

A double-single with the more spacious Nova acting as the B-side, this is the first instalment of a Call Sender album releasing on Tru Thoughts soon.
