Improvisation or extremely fluid songwriting? Qwalia's debut single 'Fool Me Once'

The debut single from Qwalia, Fool Me Once, is one meandering groove.

Recorded during improvised sessions at the London Studios, Fish Factory, the uncut version of Fool Me Once nearly hits the 9-minute-work. And it doesn't feel a second too long, either.

The beauty is in the unscripted nature of the recording process, or at least that's how it sounds.

Be it through pure organic iterations from the band or extremely fluid songwriting, solos and vocals intertwine to make Fool Me Once 8 minutes and 58 seconds well spent.
