Tru Thoughts release Gospel tinged banger from Luman Child

Brighton’s Tru Thoughts have only gone and bloody done it again. This time, releasing a big EP from Neuchâtel-born Swiss artist, Luman Child. Love Is The Message is the artist's first release with the label.

The project features a gospel-house hit that mesh Luman Child’s love for deep bass with the influence of 70s jazz, funk and hip-hop, also featured on the EP are a modern soul number and a neo-soul slammer. Lovely. Really showing off his range.

Definitely not one to shy away from demonstrating his versatile skills, the artist loves to experiment with tight-funk basslines, orchestral-string stabs, and tender Rhodes keys.

He’s also collaborated with a host of international and acclaimed artists such as Gwen McCrae (imagine… this is so iconic?!), MAQman, Alex Attias and has received support from Mixmag and da God, Gilles Peterson. It’s defo worth a listen - check it out.
